Our history
The beginning
JABS Group, as you know it today, was established in 2014 with the clear goal of becoming Europe's leading eCommerce business in the production and sale of windows and doors directly to end consumers. However, our roots go back to 1972, when our journey began as a small carpentry company in Sokolka, Poland.
In the early days, our skilled carpenters measured, crafted, and delivered custom-made windows and doors directly to customers. While we still hold true to this personalized service today, we have significantly enhanced the process with modern production and logistics systems. This allows us to maintain control over the entire value chain, ensuring quality and efficiency from production to delivery.
The foundation of our current business model
The 1990s marked a pivotal time for us with the foundation of our current business model. We began direct mail-order sales under the brand JNA, laying the groundwork for our eCommerce platform. By the mid-2000s, we launched an online configuration system under the brand Spar, enabling customers to order made-to-measure windows and doors online.
Inwido
Recognizing the potential of our eCommerce business model, we expanded our operations throughout the late 2000s and early 2010s. Our growth was further accelerated in 2014 when Inwido acquired JNA and Spar Group (DK, NO, SE, EE). This acquisition strengthened our foundation and enabled strategic scaling. In 2016, we rebranded to Inwido eCommerce, reflecting our strengthened position within the Inwido Group.
New markets and acquisitions
Our expansion continued with entry into new markets, including Germany in 2015, the UK in 2016, and Finland and Austria in 2017. In 2018, we expanded further by acquiring the Bedst & Billigst Group (DK, NO, SE, RO). The integration of Inwido’s factory in Sokolka, Poland, into our operations in 2019 further enhanced our production capabilities. In 2023, we entered the Dutch market, and in 2024, we established our new headquarter in Odense, Denmark.
JABS Group
In 2022, we rebranded once more to JABS Group, a name that unifies our diverse operations and reflects our vision for the future.
Today, we employ over 700 dedicated and engaged employees and operate production facilities in Estonia, Poland, and Romania. We proudly represent 12 different brands across eight countries in Europe.
Being close to our customers is crucial for us. Direct contact, although requiring effort, provides great transparency and valuable insights. We value our customers' trust and honesty, and if errors occur, they are corrected quickly.
